Drawing of the AA-cruiser Jacob van Heemskerck as she appeared during her service with the British Eastern Fleet. During 1943, the centre mast was removed as new radars could send and receive signals from the same mount. This mast was intended for receiving signals. This drawing is not entirely accurate when it comes to the camouflage ( the superstructure was also painted ), the purpose is merely to give an impression of how she looked like.
