*** The original design had four twins. For some reason, Tromp only received 2. Heemskerck was to be completed with all four.
****These were replaced by two twin Bofors 40 mm mounts with type 282 radar. Two additional twin mounts were installated amidships
*****  Tromp initially carried Dutch tubes for V53 torpedoes, but the mounts were replaced by British in 1944/1945, for British Mark IX torpedoes. These were finally removed in 1946.
